The agency's current job spotlight is for a Senior Business Services Consultant - Pee Dee
Are you adept at providing business services or working and building relationships with community-based organizations, rural communities, and/or state organizations?
Our Senior Business Services Consultant serves within the Employment Services (ES) division. ES programs improve the functioning of the labor market by bringing together individuals who are seeking employment and employers who are seeking workers. The SC Works system provides jobseekers with career guidance, job referrals, assessments, and résumé assistance. Free tools to assist employers include posting job openings, recruiting and screening candidates, and reviewing job market trends. South Carolina’s 12 local workforce development boards administer the SC Works Centers throughout the state.
This Senior Business Services Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for large employer projects and accounts for Business Services within the Pee Dee Region for DEW. Responsibilities include implementing and leading regional collaboration meetings, providing technical assistance to Business Service Partners, and helping develop sector partnerships. This role will work directly with employers and partners to coordinate and provide business solutions through the workforce system.
Pee Dee region includes Chesterfield, Clarendon, Darlington, Dillion, Florence, Georgetown, Horry, Kershaw, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Sumter and Williamsburg.
